DCEO is pleased to announce the new guidelines for the Solar Energy Rebate program, funded out of the Renewable Energy Resources Program (RERP), are now available.

Click here to download the FY2008 Solar Energy Rebate Program guidelines.

The guidelines, much unchanged from last year’s program, establish minimum project sizes for eligibility and a flat 30% award level up to a maximum rebate amount of $10,000. Also, projects with a maximum total project cost of $33,000 to $50,000 will be eligible up to the maximum rebate amount of $10,000.

Additional resources may be available to rural agricultural producers and small businesses at http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/

Please note: applications must be for solar energy systems purchased and/or installed after January 1, 2007.  These guidelines are effective immediately upon this publication.
