Solar and Wind Energy Rebate Program
The focus of the Solar and Wind Energy Rebate Program, through the State's Renewable Energy Resources Program, is to encourage utilization of small-scale solar and wind energy systems in Illinois.

Community Solar and Wind Grant Program
The focus of the Community Solar and Wind Grant Program is to support the development and implementation of distributed community-scale solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, and wind energy technologies in Illinois.  The Department is soliciting applications through a competitive Request-for-Application process.

Renewable Energy Business Development Program
The focus of the Renewable Energy Business Development Grant Program, through the RERP, is to support development or expansion of renewable energy production through the development of renewable energy businesses and component manufacturers. Approximately $2 million of funding is available for this program for FY2012.

Biogas and Biomass to Energy Grant Program
The focus of the Biogas and Biomass to Energy Grant Program, through the State’s Renewable Energy Resources Program, is to encourage the use of biogas and biomass for on-site energy generation in Illinois.
   
The Economic and Environmental Impacts of Clean Energy Development in Illinois
This study examines the economic, employment and environmental benefits that Illinois could realize by increasing investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
 
Emissions Impact Assessment of the Sustainable Energy Plan for Illinois
This study shows that the Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard and Renewable Portfolio Standard contained in the Illinois Sustainable Energy Plan produce significant and measurable air quality benefits to Illinois and surrounding states.

Compiled from data collected by Illinois Wind Program, National Weather Service, and Illinois State Water Survey prepared by Western Illinois University.  Maps show each season over three years at two different heights.
